Buster models Magnum Pro Series, Magnum, Cabin and XS are equipped with a
manual bilge pump. The capacity of the bilge pump in Magnum Pro, Magnum and
Cabin is approximately 22 litres per minute and in Buster XS approximately 18 litres
per minute when the pump is operated 45 times per minute. In Buster Magnum and
Buster Cabin, the bilge pump handle is stowed in a plastic holder next to the pump.
In Buster XS the pump handle is fixed.
The Buster Magnum Pro Series, Magnum, XXL, Cabin, XL, XL Pro, X, Lx, Lx Pro,
L, M and S are equipped with an automatic electric bilge pump. The automatic
bilge pump drains water from the bilge when the surface sensor detects water.
The capacity of the electric bilge pump is approximately 38 litres per minute. The
automatic pump is ready for operation when a battery is connected to the circuit.
The position of the main switch has no impact on the operation of the pump. The
bilge pump activates when the sensor has been fully submerged for 10 seconds
and deactivates when the sensor has detected no water for 2 seconds. The pump
may also be driven manually using the spring-loaded switch in the control board.
The suction tube and the outlet pipe of the electric and the manual bilge pumps
must be checked and debris removed at regular intervals. In the Buster Magnum
Pro Series, Magnum, XXL, Cabin, XL, XL Pro, X, Lx, Lx Pro and L the pump is
accessed through the service hatch in the engine well. In Buster M, S and XS the
pump is located under the rear seat.
The Buster Mini has no draining system. The boat must be emptied using a bailer
or, when docked, through the rear plug.
WARNING
NB
The bilge pump is not designed to control flooding caused by
the craft running aground or by any other structural damage.
Check the functioning of the bilge pump at regular intervals.
Clear the pump's suction tube of any debris.
