Cooking zones and sensors

Timer (Auto-off)

The timer ensures that the cooking zone
switches off automatically after a pre-set time
(cooking time). This function is available on
both cooking zones.

Setting the switch-off time

The cooking zone to be switched off via the
timer must be in use.
1. Press the
timer sensor (9).
The LED above the
nates.
The cooking time indicator (0: 0 0) flashes on
the display.
2. Set the desired cooking time using the
+ / – sensors (8).
Once you have entered the cooking time,
the cooking time indicator flashes 5 times.
The LED above the
mains illuminated to signal that the timer
is active.
The remaining cooking time is displayed
regularly during cooking.
3. When the cooking time has expired, a
tone sounds and the cooking zone is
switched off.
Changing the cooking time.
1. To change the cooking time, briefly touch
the
timer sensor.
The cooking time indicator flashes on the
display.
2. Change the cooking time using the
+ / – sensors.
Once you have entered the cooking time,
the cooking time indicator flashes 5 times.
The new cooking time is now saved.
Switching off the timer early
• To switch off the timer early, touch the
timer sensor for approx. 3 seconds.
The LED above the
switches off again.
The cooking zone remains switched on.

Button lock

Your hob features a button lock to prevent in-
advertent adjustments during cooking. If this
is activated, only the
sensor (6) is touch-re-
sponsive. All other sensors are locked.
The button lock only affects the associated
cooking zone, not the entire hob.
Activating button lock
• Touch the + / – sensors (8) simultaneous-
ly.
The display shows "Loc".
The LED above the padlock symbol illu-
minates.
Deactivating button lock
• Touch the + / – sensors (8) simultaneous-
ly for approx. 3 seconds.
The display now only shows the set out-
put and/or temperature.
The LED above the padlock symbol is not
illuminated.
All sensors are responsive again.
If you switch off the cooking zone with
the sensor while the button lock is ac-
tivated, this also deactivates the button lock.
