The pause function remains active for no
longer than 10 minutes, after which the appli-
ance switches itself off.

1. Select the cooking area on which you
would like to activate the heat-retaining
function.
The sensor (11) for the front left cooking
area section will flash.
2. Touch the sensor (13) for the heat-retain-
ing function.

for the cooking areas and set the desired

Switching off an individual
cooking area
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
The appliance and its accessible parts
become hot during use.
■ After use, switch off the hob element
by its control and do not rely on the
pan detector. Never do this by remov-
ing the cookware from the cooking

area. Otherwise, the cooking area will
be reactivated as soon as a pot or an-
other object made of ferromagnetic
metal is placed on top.
■ Metallic objects such as knives, forks,
spoons and lids should not be placed
on the hob surface since they can get
hot.
1. Touch the sensor of the cooking zone/

2. Touch the slider sensor (14) at the left
end or swipe your finger left over the slid-
er sensor until the heat setting display "
