Cooking zones and sensors

Activating the sensors

The hob has four cooking zones. A sensor is
assigned to each cooking zone.
Always activate the sensors with your entire
fingertip; not just the very end of the finger.
Each time the sensor registers a touch, you
will hear an acoustic signal.
Your finger and the sensors must be clean
and dry for the sensors to function properly.
The sensors may not be covered by objects.

Pot recognition

Pot recognition is installed in the cooking
zones. Pot recognition ensures that the cook-
ing zones will be activated only if there is a pot
with a ferromagnetic base or another object
made of the same kind of metal located there.
The cooking zone becomes inactive as soon
as the pot or the magnetic object is removed.
