Switching off individual
cooking zones
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
The appliance and its accessible parts
become hot during use.
■ After use, switch off the hob element
by its control and do not rely on the
pan detector. Do not rely on the pan
detector. Never do this by removing
the cookware from the cooking zone/
area. Otherwise, the cooking zone/
area will be reactivated as soon as
a pot or other object made of ferro-
magnetic metal is placed on it.
■ Metallic objects such as knives, forks,
spoons and lids should not be placed
on the hob surface since they can get
hot.
1. Use the sensor field (5) to select the ac-
tive cooking zone.
2. Touch the slider sensor (10) at the " " po-
sition or swipe your finger over the slider
sensor to the " " position until the heat
setting display "

Automatic safety features

The appliance has a number of safety fea-
tures to prevent it from being damaged dur-
ing operation. If the appliance is properly in-
stalled and used, these safety features will
rarely be used.
Automatic power reduction
The temperature of the electronic elements
inside the appliance are constantly measured
using a sensor.
If the elements become too hot, the appliance
will automatically switch off.

Residual heat display

During cooking, the heat from the pot is trans-
ferred to the glass ceramic surface of the
cooking zone and the cooking zone becomes
hot. When you switch the appliance off, the
residual heat indicator "

A few seconds later, the appliance will shut off
