6. Selection of the Installation Site

You can install the mixing desk in a suitable rack (there are two mounting holes each on the left and right side of the
front panel) or place it on a table, for example (there are rubber feet underneath the device).
Observe the following tips when selecting the installation site:
• The mixing desk may not be operated near radiators or in bright sunlight.
• There should be no transformers, motors or loudspeakers near the installation site.
• Protect the appliance from vibrations, dust, heat, cold and dampness. Operation is only admissible in dry rooms.
• The installation site must be solid, smooth, stable and big enough. Make sure that the appliance doesn't drop as
this may injure persons. Install all cables in such a way that no one can trip over them.
Make sure that the power cable and the other connection cables are not squashed or damaged
by sharp edges.
• Do not place any containers with liquid (glasses, bottles, vases, etc.) on or next to the appliance and do not put
any objects onto the appliance. There may not be any tablecloths or similar on the installation surface.
• Due to the large variety of furniture lacquers and polishes, it cannot be ruled out that the feet of the appliance
leaves behind visible residues on the furniture due to chemical reactions. The weight of the appliance may also
cause pressure marks on the surface. Therefore, do not place the device on valuable furniture without a suitable
protection.
