Intended Use

The reverse driving video system serves to alert the driver of any obstructions when parking or revers-
ing. It works with ultrasound sensors and a reverse drive camera with IR lighting. The reverse drive
image and the distance to possible obstacles are displayed on a TFT colour monitor that is integrated in
the rear-view mirror. Obstacles are additionally signalled acoustically with a beep.
This product may only be operated if it is connected to a 12V DC car power supply with the negative ter-
minal of the car battery connected to the body. It may only be installed and operated in passenger cars
and motor lorries provided with this kind of supply voltage.
The integrated 7" TFT monitor (approx 17.8 cm diagonal) allows you to connect an additional video
source (e.g. another camera). You may only use the rear-view mirror monitor for reversing when parking.
You may only play back another video source when the vehicle stands still and is not actively involved in
road traffic. With the clamp you can attach the TFT rear-view mirror effortlessly to the vehicle's rear-view
mirror.
Through the type of installation, the user has to ensure that the control electronics, the signaller and the
connection box are protected against moisture and dampness.
Any use other than that described above can damage the product and may involve additional risks such
as short circuits, fire and electric shocks.
No part of the product must be modified or rebuilt!
