When using tools to install your parking aid, observe the manufacturers' safety precautions.
When installing the components, take into consideration the risk of accident which can arise from
devices being torn away in the event of an accident. Therefore, you should secure every component in a
place where it cannot be dangerous to passengers.
Should proper operation of the device be no longer possible, stop use immediately and secure it from
being put into operation again.
Avoid subjecting the telephone to severe mechanical stress.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This could become a dangerous toy in the
hands of children.
Keep the unit out of reach of children. It is not a toy.
When in doubt about how to connect the device correctly or should any questions arise that are not
answered in these operating manual, contact our Technical Advisory Service or another expert.
If you have any reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it imme-
diately and make sure it is not unintentionally operated. It can be assumed that safe operation is no
longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage,
- the unit does not operate any longer and
- the unit was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- after it was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
