Intended Use

The parking system serves to alert the driver to any obstructions when parking or reversing within an
area of up to 2 m. The system uses ultrasonic sensors to detect the distance.
The distance to possible obstacles is indicated acoustically and optically on an VFD (vacuum fluorescent
display). This makes it easy to detect the distance to and the direction of the obstacle. The volume of the
alarm can be adjusted or completely muted.
The signals are transmitted by radio from the control unit to the display.
This product may only be operated if it is connected to a 12V DC car power supply with the negative ter-
minal of the car battery connected to the body. It may only be installed and operated in passenger cars
and motor lorries provided with this supply voltage.
The user must install the device in such a way as to ensure that the control electronics and the display
are protected from moisture and dampness. The ultrasonic sensors are watertight.
Any use other than that described above can damage the product and may pose additional risks such as
short circuits, fire and electric shocks.
No part of the product may be modified or reconstructed!
