f) Parking Mode

Pushing the button "P" for more than three seconds during recording (LED "REC"
fl ashes blue) will activate "parking mode". If the basic confi guration has a checkmark
for "Parking Mode" in "Record Setting" under "Sound Option", you will receive a cor-
responding English message: "Parking-Mode on". This message is now repeated
every two minutes.
In the "Parking-Mode" function, you may have your vehicle "monitored" (e.g. in a
parking garage). To save memory, the camera only records four frames per second
in this mode and the G-sensors are set to increased sensitivity. If, for example,
impact by another vehicle activates one of the G-sensors, the camera will record
this event as you are used to from regular operation. An "event" is saved in the
event folder.
To deactivate the "Parking Mode", push the button "P" again for more than three
seconds. If the basic confi guration has a checkmark for "Parking Mode" in "Record
Setting" under "Sound Option", you will receive a corresponding English message:
"Parking-Mode off".

In „Parking-Mode", the car camera must be connected permanently to a
permanent power source (car battery). Extended operation in „Parking-
Mode" poses the danger of deep discharge of the car battery. We recom-
mend to activate undervoltage recognition in the basic confi guration.
No sound may be recorded for the videos in "Parking-Mode".
If the G-sensors do not recognise any "movement" for an extended period, the car
camera will automatically switch to parking mode.
If the confi guration view has both checkmarks set for "Parking Mode" (fi gure 14),
manual "Parking Mode" cannot be activated or deactivated by pushing the "P-button".
During an "event", parking mode cannot be activated or deactivated.
