6. Safety Information

In case of damage caused by failure to observe these operating in-
structions, the guarantee will expire! We do not accept liability for
damage to property and personal injury caused by misuse or non-
compliance with the safety instructions!
The exclamation mark indicates important notes in these operating
instructions that must be strictly observed.

a) Car Camera with GPS

• The product must not be modifi ed or converted, as not only the CE approval will
expire but also the warranty.
• The system components must not be exposed to any considerable mechanical
strain.
• The car camera with GPS must not get damp or wet and is intended for dry indoor
use only (inside of the vehicle).
• During installation and operation, observe the applicable approval provisions and
the road traffi c ordinance (Straßenverkehrsordnung). Before driving abroad, fi nd
out if installation, installation site and operation of the car camera with GPS are
permissible and do not violate applicable laws or regulations.
• Only the 12V/DC or 24V/DC direct voltage board mains must be used as a power
source. Never connect the system to a different power supply.
• Ensure proper commissioning of the system. Observe the operating instructions
for it.
• Improper installation and cabling of the car camera with GPS may cause damage
to the electrical system of the vehicle, including important computer and operating
systems. This may cause accident (e.g. electrical shock) or fi re, which may lead
to property damage and/or serious injury. We recommend that installation and
connection be performed by a qualifi ed car electrician.
• Wireless devices such as WLAN router, Bluetooth devices or mobile phones may
impair screen operation. If this is the case, the screen will either show rolling lines,
blurred images or static images.
