10. Initial Commissioning

a) Installing the SD Card

Push the included SD card (fi gure 1, item 4) into the SD card slot (fi gure 2, item 7)
of the camera. The SD card contacts point forward at the camera side. The SD card
is installed correctly if a "click" sounds after pushing it in and the SD card is fl ush
with the housing.
The SD card can be removed from the camera again by pushing it into the camera
housing with gentle pressure until you hear a "click". Then you can let the SD card
slide from the holder.

The slider at the side of the SD-card must point forward (toward the con-
tacts). This enables writing on the SD card. If the slider is not in this
position, the car camera cannot make any recordings and you cannot
confi gure the software.
SDHC cards up to 32 GB with CLASS 6 (or better) may be used. For
operation with the car camera, the operating software of the car camera
on the SD card must be installed correctly.
To put the operating software on a new SD card or to generally back it up,
we recommend that you copy the SD card before initial commissioning
and store the copy on your computer.
