d) Switching Off the Device

To switch off the car camera, the supply voltage must be disconnected. For this, pull
the cigarette lighter plug from your vehicle's socket or pull the ignition key. The in-
stalled support battery completes the last dataset. Always wait for the car camera to
complete data fi nalising after disconnecting the car camera from the vehicle power
supply. Once data has been successfully stored, the GPS and REC-LEDs go out.

tions. Please also observe the following item in these operating instruc-
tions.

11. Software Operating Elements

When your car camera is connected to the vehicle supply voltage, never
interrupt the voltage supply during initialisation because this may cause
damage to the software. If the motor of your vehicle does not start up at
the fi rst attempt and your car camera is still initialising, wait before trying
to start up again.
During operation, the SD card must never be removed because there
may be irreparable loss of data. Always wait for the car camera to com-
plete data fi nalising after disconnecting the car camera from the vehicle
power supply. Once data has been successfully stored, the GPS and
REC-LEDs go out. Now you may remove the SD-card.
Push the included SD card (fi gure 1, item 4) into a card reader. Open the operating
software for the car camera by double-clicking the icon "VD Analyser". The home
page of the operating software opens (fi gure 10). Enter the password indicated on
the home page and confi rm with "OK". The password is located in the line above
the input fi eld.
