g) Low Battery Detection (fi gure 12d)
For permanent operation in "Parking Mode", we recommend activation of the under-
voltage monitor. If the battery voltage for the set threshold is undercut for more than
5 minutes, the electronic switches off the camera. Deep discharge of the battery is
avoided in this way. Select the desired function by clicking. The fi rst fi gure shows
the activation voltage in a 12V board grid. The second fi gure shows the deactivation
voltage in a 24V board grid.
h) Speed Type / Vehicle Type (fi gure 12e)
Select the unit relevant for you in "Speed Type": "km/h" or "mph". The speed is
displayed in the selected unit when the videos are played back.
In "Vehicle Type", you can set whether the car camera is installed in a car or a bus.

The setting „Bus" mainly changes the reaction behaviour of the G-sen-
sors for the X- and Z-axes. If you have installed the car camera to your
vehicle (bus or car) windshield nearly vertically (approx. 90° to the road),
the „bus" setting may lead to better trigger behaviour of the G-sensors in
a car as well. However, this must be individually tested in driving tests.
