b) Display File Folder (fi gure 11, item 2)
The SD card has three folders for storing all data (event, gps and normal). These
folders permit calling and viewing of the data individually with a "double-click". The
folder "event" is activated in the example shown.
c) Open (fi gure 11, item 3)
Click the button "OPEN" to select one of the folders "event, gps or normal".
d) Google Map (fi gure 11, item 4)
Here, Google Map according to the route driven is displayed in addition to the
videos. This is, however, only possible if GPS reception was not interrupted while
the car camera records (the GPS-LED was lit blue continually) and if the computer
is connected to the internet while the videos are viewed.
e) Display the Current Data Block (fi gure 11, item 5)
The car camera generates a new data block (fi le) every fi ve minutes when record-
ing. This makes it easier to fi nd a specifi c section later. Every data block (fi le) has its
own designation. The data block designation is as follows:
2010 – 09 – 28 (= date) 11:42:51 (= time) [E123.958977 : N37.389534] (= GPS
coordinates)

Date, time and GPS coordinates are generated automatically while there
is GPS reception. For the time, it is important that you have set the cor-
rect time zone for the vehicle size in the basic software confi guration.
Observe the notes in one of the following chapters.
If an event is displayed during recording („Event" – e.g. a G-sensor
triggered), a new data block (fi le) starts after completion of the „event
recording time". This happens independently, even if the data block has
not reached its full length of fi ve minutes yet.
