+ = anterior placement / – = posterior placement (to the alignment reference line)
Item see fig. 4
a‑p position: 0 mm (proximal point of the prosthetic sock
et)
Socket flexion: hip flexion contracture (determined with
Thomas test) + at least 4°
Take the individual situation of the patient into account.
Additional adapters (double adapter, socket adapter) can also be
used for height adjustment (see the section "Combination Possibil
ities" – see Page 18).
5.2 Static Alignment
+ = anterior placement / – = posterior placement (to the load line)
Item see fig. 5
Required materials and tools:
743L100 L.A.S.A.R. Posture
Prosthetic knee joint, locked (note the section "Use" – see
Page 27)

To determine the load line, position the patient on the L.A.S.A.R.
Posture as follows:
Prosthetic foot on force plate (sufficient load: > 35% body
weight)
Other foot (with shoe) on height compensation plate
The tips of the shoe and prosthetic foot are in one line

Optimise the static alignment exclusively by changing the plantar
flexion on the socket adapter of the foot adapter.
a–p positioning of the alignment reference point (rotation axis of the
prosthetic knee joint) to the load line:
Beginner: > -80 mm
Advanced: -80 mm
5.3 Dynamic Trial Fitting
In the course of dynamic trial fitting, the prosthesis alignment is checked,
plantar flexion is adjusted and flexion damping as well as extension damping
are configured. The correct use of the sport prosthesis must be practised to
ensure safe running and walking. This section contains fundamental informa
