54 / 88
Suitable cleaning and care materials are, for example:
□ Washing-up liquid
□ Special stainless steel cleaner
□ Preserving stainless steel care materials
□ Descaling cleaning materials
1. Use a moist cloth with water and commercially available
washing-up liquid to clean the outside and inside of the de
vice.
1. Switch on the device at the mains power switch.
2. Unplug the mains plug from the power socket.
3. Undo the four slotted nuts of the cooking tank bridge to
clean the protective grill with pump and heater. For exam
ple, use a coin or a screwdriver.
4. Hold the control head and clean the parts underneath the
cooking tank bridge in detergent solution. Water must not
get onto and into the control head.
5. There is a seal between the cooking tank and cooking tank
bridge. Check the seal for intactness and correct seating.
6. Clean the cooking tank and the seal with fresh warm water
and detergent.
7. The cooking tank bridge can be attached to the cooking
tank again after the cleaning.
8. Screw down the cooking tank bridge again using the four
slotted nuts.
It can be necessary to remove the protective grill in the case of
heavy soiling.
1.
Rotate the removed cooking tank bridge with the control
head by 180° and place the assembly on a soft and dry
base.
2.
On the underside of the control head, only slacken the
domed nuts with an A/F 7 mm open-ended spanner (do
not unscrew the dome nuts).
3.
Now move the protective grill a few millimetres in the di
rection of the rear side of the control head.
4.
The protective grill can now be removed and rinsed in de
tergent solution.
5.
Hold the control head and rinse the parts (heater, pump
and others) underneath the cooking tank bridge in de
tergent solution. Clean the parts using a brush or paint
brush. Water must not get onto and into the control head.
6.
Dry the complete control head carefully so that no
moisture gets into the interior of the device.
