Operation

5.1

General safety instructions

Only operate the device with water.
The device must not be switched on until it has been filled with
water up to at last the MIN marking.
WARNING!
Control unit falling into cooking pan
Electric shock
● Only operate the device when it is fully assembled!
● The control unit has to be screw-fixed to the cooking
pan bridge!
● The cooking pan bridge has to be screw-fixed to the
cooking pan!
CAUTION!
Contact with hot water and hot surfaces
Burns, scalding
● Avoid splashes and skin contact with hot water!
● Observe the symbol for hot surfaces!
● Always operate the device with the lid!
● Never open the drain tap during operation!
CAUTION!
Loading and removing food items; overflowing of the
cooking pan when immersing food and objects
Burns, scalding
● Please note that the water level will rise when you place
food items into the water!
● Do not exceed the MAX fill level marking!
CAUTION!
Moving the device during operation
Burns, scalding
Before moving/shifting the device:
. Switch off the device!
. Disconnect the device from the power supply!
. Leave the water to cool down!
. Drain the cooking pan!
Also note the following:
□ The device is not suitable for use by remote control systems
or external timers.
