g) Switching on the Speed Controller

First switch on the transmitter if you haven't done so al-
ready.
Only then switch on the speed controller by moving the
slider to the left towards the setup button (switch position
„ON"). Then wait for a few seconds (leave the throttle/
brake lever on the transmitter in the neutral position; do
not move it).
If the vehicle drive starts although the throttle/
brake on the transmitter is in the neutral posi-
tion, then adjust the trim on the transmitter until
the motor stops.
If the trimming path is insufficient, the neutral position must be programmed, see chapter 10. a).
Now check the drive and steering functions of the vehicle.
For programming the speed controller, please observe chapter 10. b).
Important!
Check the programming of the speed controller for whether undervoltage protection is activated (usually
3.0 V/cell). With the undervoltage recognition deactivated, the LiPo batteries will otherwise suffer deep
discharge and be destroyed.
The LED at the speed controller goes out in the neutral position or is lit in red when driving forward and backwards.
The LED lights up green when driving forwards and at full throttle.

h) Attaching and Fastening the Car Body

Put the car body onto the supports and secure the body with safety clips.

i) Controlling the Vehicle

Put the ready-to-run vehicle on the ground. Do not reach into the drive, and to not hold the vehicle at its rims.
Operate the throttle/braking lever for the drive function at the transmitter very cautiously and do not drive
too fast at the beginning until you get used to the car's reactions. Do not make any quick and jerky move-
ments with the operating elements of the remote control.
Never point the transmitter aerial directly onto the vehicle. It will strongly decrease the range. The maximum range will
be achieved when the aerial of the transmitter and vehicle are both vertical and in parallel to each other.
If the vehicle tends to pull towards the left or the right, set the steering trim on the transmitter accordingly.
When switching between forward and reverse gears, the throttle/brake lever must be put in the neutral position briefly
(approx. 1 second) (neutral position = let go of lever, do not move it). If the throttle/brake lever is moved from forward
to reverse directly, the brake function of the drive is activated (vehicle will NOT reverse).
When the drive batteries are flat, wait for at least 5 - 10 minutes until motor and speed controller have cooled down
sufficiently before the next run. Only then start a new drive with full drive batteries.
