Plug the flat USB connector on one end of the supplied USB cable into a
USB port on the PC.
Note: Under Windows 7 and 8 you must install the USB and TAPI drivers
before you connect the telephone to the PC.

Plug the other USB connector into the USB port on the back of the system
telephone.

Follow the instructions on the screen, and click on Finish after you have in-
stalled the USB driver.

Installing TAPI Driver (only COMfortel 2600)

The TAPI driver enables you to use TAPI applications from the USB port on the
Auerswald USB device.
Note: Only Windows XP (32-bit) and Windows 7 applications are sup-
ported.
Requirements
– The Auerswald Mega Disk included in the package
– Completed installation of the USB Driver
COMfortel 1600/2600 - Firmware Version 1.2A - COMfortel Set 3.4 - Setup V04 09/2013
Under Windows the Hardware Wizard starts automatically and helps
you install the required USB driver.
