For communication with the configuration server, it is important that you see values in the Received column. The
values for UDP Packets and Multicast Packets specify values for the CEA-852 data traffic. Check if the multicast
address on all devices has been identically configured.
7.4 Communication problems on the LON/IP channel
Symptoms
Data is not exchanged with all devices.
Possible causes
• No communication with the configuration server.
• Not all devices are connected to the network.
• The clocks are not synchronous.
Possible solutions
Check in the configuration server to see if the Channel List is complete and whether devices there have the status
red. These devices must be examined more closely.
Check on the router whether the Status/Reset LED lights up green. If this LED is off, the router has not been regis-
tered by the configuration server. In this case check the IP settings for the configuration server in the router and the
settings on the configuration server for consistency.
