1 General information

1.1 Safety instructions

This product has been constructed in accordance with valid technical regulations at the time of its development
and manufacture and is regarded as operationally safe. The product may be a source of danger if not used by tech-
nically trained personnel, if used incorrectly or not according to intended use. Observe VDE and DIN standards and
regulations and the safety instructions specified below.

1.2 Conformity to standards

The IP router complies with: 72/23/EEC / low voltage directive and 89/336/EEC / EMC directive. Developed, manu-
factured and tested according to DIN EN ISO 9001.

1.3 Content of assembly and installation instructions

Persons working with this device should have read and understood the operating instructions before commencing
work.

1.4 Modifications and conversions

No modifications or conversions should be carried out to this device that have not been expressly permitted by the
manufacturer for avoidance of danger and for ensuring optimal efficiency.

1.5 Work safety

Damage to persons or property while working with and on this device can be avoided by complying with the speci-
fied safety instructions and other information in these operating instructions.
