Servicing

Servicing work on boiler and burner
must be performed exclusively by a
specialist. It is advisable to take out
a service contract to guarantee
regular servicing.
Warning
Switch off the electric power supply
before any servicing or cleaning
operations.
Three servicing modes are employed in order to reach the different components (parts for servicing).

Running time meter
In order to monitor burner running time,
installation of a running time meter is
recommended. Excessively short
periods of burner operating increase
standstill losses. In such cases, the
burner should be adjusted to a lower
output setting.
Mode 1
· Switch off electric power supply.
· Undo the 3 fixing screws (1).
· Turn burner slightly (to release
bayonet catch) and withdraw it from
the burner flange (2).
Dismantle blast tube
· Undo the three threaded studs (5).
· Withdraw blast tube (6).
· Warning: blast tube may be hot.
Version 2
· Switch off electric power supply
· Remove nozzle line
· Unscrew oil pipe (9)
· Withdraw ignition cable (8) from
transformer
· Remove photoelectric cell (7)
· Unplug connector
· Undo 3 screws (10) (bayonet catch)
· Slightly turn burner head (11) and
withdraw the whole unit.
Mode 3
· Switch off electric power supply
· Slacken the 5 fixing screws 5-6 turns
· Suspend equipment plate (12) on the
housing (in servicing position).

Monitoring flue gas temperature
· Check flue gas temperature regularly
· Clean boiler if flue gas temperature
exceeds starting-up temperature by
more than 30°C.
· To facilitate checking, install a flue
gas temperature indicator

Cleaning filter pump
· Unscrew pump cover fixing screws
· Withdraw filter
· Carefully clean filter or replace it
· Re-insert filter.
