Assembly
Burner assembly
Electric power supply
Assembly note
The burner flange (1) is equipped with
slotted holes (2) and can be fitted over
a hole Ø 165-220 mm. The burner
flange gasket and fixing screws are
packed with the burner.
The electrical installation and
connection work must be carried out
by a qualified electrician, respecting
VDE and EVU regulations.
Electrical connection
Check that the network voltage is the
specified operating voltage of 230V,
50Hz.

Electrical plug-in connections
The burner and heat generator (boiler)
are connected together by one 7-pin
and one 4-pin connector.
On the V-L 04.480, power must be
supplied to the burner motor via a
separate fuse-protected cable.
Fuel-oil supply
The burner is equipped with two flexible
oil hoses connected to an oil filtration
system.
Maximum permissible length and head
of supply pipes are shown in the
diagram opposite.
Lengths are determined taking into
account pressure losses for one
shut-off valve, one non-return valve and
4 elbow bends, and an average
viscosity of 0.825.
Max. permissible vacuum: 0.4 bar.
The pipe connections must be sealed
only with oil resistant sealing
substances, such as Teflon tape.
