Reinigung, Desinfektion und
Sterilisation
Allgemeine Pflegehinweise
Warnung: Vor sämtlichen Reinigungsar-
beiten das Gerät vom Netz trennen!
Die Kamerakontrolleinheit (CCU) und den Kame-
rakopf im (Schutz)Koffer aufbewahren. Das
Kamerakopfkabel bei der Lagerung nicht zu eng
aufwickeln und nicht knicken.
Die CCU und den Kamerakopf nicht ungeschützt
im direkten Sonnenlicht oder in einer extrem
heißen Umgebung aufbewahren.
Beim Einsenden des Kamerakopfes und/oder der
Optikkupplung zur Wartung muss der Absender
sicherstellen, dass das Equipment sauber und
desinfiziert ist.
Die Lichtein- und Austrittsflächen der Lichtkabel
und Endoskope stets sauber halten (siehe jewei-
lige Gebrauchsanweisung), um eine optimale
Wiedergabe des endoskopischen Bildes zu
gewährleisten.
Vorsicht: Rückstände von Chemikalien
am Kartenstecker können zum Versagen
der Kameraelektronik führen.
Vorsicht: Rückstände von Chemikalien
am Lichtkabel und am Lichteinlass des
Endoskops können durch die Hitzeent-
wicklung der Lichtquelle einbrennen,
damit die Lichtfasern beschädigen und
die Lichtleistung sowie die Bildqualität
beeinträchtigen.
Pflege und Handhabung
Zur Erhöhung der Lebensdauer der Kamera bitte
die folgenden Anweisungen zur korrekten Hand-
habung und Pflege des Kamerakopfes befolgen.
DAS KAMERAKOPFKABEL NICHT IN DIE
STECKBUCHSE DES PROZESSORS STECKEN,
WENN ES NASS IST. Der Stecker muss immer
vollkommen trocken und frei von Rückständen
sein. Restfeuchtigkeit ggf. mit einem flusenfreien
Einmaltuch vor dem Einstecken entfernen.

Warning: Always pull out power plug
before cleaning!
Store the camera control unit (CCU) and camera
head in their protective case. Do not coil the
camera head cable into tight loops or cause the
camera head cable to kink while storing.
Do not store the CCU and the camera head in
direct sunlight or excessive heat.
When returning the camera head and/or optical
coupler for service, the user must ensure the
equipment being returned is clean and disinfec-
ted.
The light entrances and exit faces of the light
cable and the endoscope must always be kept
clean (please refer to the corresponding instruc-
tion manual) to ensure optimal reproduction of
the endoscopic image.
Caution: Chemical residue on the card-
edge connector can cause camera
failure.
Caution: Heat from the light source can
cause chemical residue on the light
cable and on the light entrance of the
endoscope to burn. This can damage the
light fibers and have a detrimental effect
on the lighting power and the picture
quality.
Care and handling
To maximize the life of your camera, please follow
the guidelines given below for proper handling
and care of the camera head.
DO NOT PLUG THE CAMERA HEAD CABLE
INTO THE PROCESSOR RECEPTACLE IF IT IS
WET. Always ensure the connector is completely
dry and free of debris. Wipe off any moisture with
a lint-free disposable cloth before plugging it in.

Cuidado general
Cuidado: Antes de cualquier trabajo de
limpieza, desconecte el equipo de la red.
Conserve la unidad de control de la
cámara (CCU) y el cabezal de la cámara en su
maletín (protector). No forme un rollo apretado
con el cable del cabezal de la cámara ni lo
doble para su almacenamiento.
No exponga la CCU ni el cabezal de la cámara
sin protección a la luz directa del sol, ni los alma-
cene en un ambiente muy caluroso.
Cuando se envía el cabezal de la cámara y/o el
acoplamiento óptico para su mantenimiento, el
remitente debe cerciorarse de que el equipo
está limpio y desinfectado.
Mantenga siempre limpias las entradas y salidas
de luz del cable de luz y del endoscopio (véase
el Manual de instrucciones respectivo), para ase-
gurar una reproducción óptima de la imagen
endoscópica.
Advertencia: Los residuos de productos
químicos en la conexión de borde de tar-
jeta pueden ocasionar averías en el sis-
tema electrónico de la cámara.
Advertencia: El calor generado por la
fuente de luz puede quemar los residuos
de productos químicos en el cable de
luz y en la entrada de luz del endosco-
pio, deteriorando las fibras ópticas y
menoscabando la potencia lumínica y la
calidad de la imagen.
Conservación y manejo
Para aumentar la vida útil de la cámara es con-
veniente conservarla y manejarla de acuerdo con
las instrucciones siguientes.
EL CABLE DEL CABEZAL DE LA CÁMARA NO
DEBE INTRODUCIRSE EN EL CONECTOR DEL
PROCESADOR SI ESTÁ HÚMEDO. El enchufe
debe estar siempre completamente seco y libre
de residuos: Si es necesario, seque la humedad
residual con un paño desechable libre de pelu-
sas antes de enchufarlo.
