Attaching the protective cover
Warning: Never use the device without a properly mounted protective cover. There is a
risk of injuries.
GB 1/38 BT:
• The protective cover can only be attached after the removal of the string head.
• Place the protective cover (2) on the pole tube (a).
• With the help of screw (b) and screw nut (c), fasten the cover and ensure that the
protective cover (2) is held in such a way that the string trimmer points down.
• Then re-attach the string head
GB 1/44-23 MS (assemble protective cover for scythe)
• Pull the distance collar (a) and the rider plate (b) off the shaft (c).
• Place the protective cover (3) on the gear mechanism housing (20) and screw it in
place with the accompanying screws.
• Place the distance collar (a) and the rider plate (b) back on the shaft (c).
