Protective cover
•
The protective cover needs to be installed to prevent debris or dirt from being kicked
up at the user of the device. It is also designed to prevent that the string will become
longer than necessary.
Muffler cover
•
The muffler cover prevents hands, objects and/or flammable materials from coming
into contact with the hot muffler.
Assembly
Additional handle (GB 1/38 BT)
Note: Make sure that the handle is mounted safely, and check this regularly. Improperly
mounted parts represent a serious risk of injury.
•
When mounting the additional handle, it must be ensured that this is at least 250 mm
from the built-in handle.
•
Loosen the screw on the handle and attach the clamp to the shaft. Position the
handle above the lock lever as shown in the main figure,.
•
Fasten the screw and make sure that it is seated tightly.
Two-handed fork handle (GB 1/44-23 MS)
Note: Make sure that the handle is mounted safely, and check this regularly. Improperly
mounted parts represent a serious risk of injury.

Loosen the screws of the handle holder intended for this purpose and place the
handles in the holder as shown in the main figure.
•
Fasten the screw and make sure that it is fastened tightly.
Assembling the pole (GB 1/38 BT)
•
Remove the cover from the lower pole tube.
•
Push the lock lever (5) in the primary hole while pushing the lower pole tube into the
connection coupling.
•
Tighten the fixing screw (6), before putting the device in operation.
