Start-up

The machine must not be plugged into
the wall socket while carrying out the
following activities.

Release the spring catches (1).

Lift the upper part of the vacuum
cleaner (2) vertically up and off.

Remove the accessories from the
container.
N
Fit the filter bag in the vacuum
cleaner (instructions on the filter
bag).
N
Refit the upper part of the vacuum
cleaner and close the spring
catches. Ensure that the catches
engage properly.

Push the suction hose into the
connector.

Push the hand tube (3) into the
sleeve of the suction hose.
N
Push extension tubes (4) onto the
hand tube.

Fit the adapter for power tools on
the end of the hose (5).
N
Fit the holder for the suction tube
approx. 20 cm – distance (A) – from
the bottom edge of the extension
tube.
Depending on the job in hand, fit the
crevice tool (6), furniture tool (7) or floor
tool (8) on the extension tube.
