Changing the initial setting of DVD

Turn on the TV, and switch the input to the "VIDEO 1" or "VIDEO 2" etc. accord-
ingly.
You can change the settings for TV mode, parental level, audio output, disc language,
and OSD language.
A new setting will be retained even if the unit is set to the stand-by mode. If you want
to restore or change the setting, reset it.

Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.
The startup screen appears.

After pressing the DVD/CD button, press the SETUP DVD button.

Press the or button to select the menu and press the ENT but-
ton.

Disc language
OSD language

Press the , , or button to change the setting and press the
ENT button.
Example: "OSD LANGUAGE SETUP" is selected

(The number of repetition depends on the setting item.)
To change other settings, begin from step 3.

Press the SETUP DVD button.
The new setting is memorised.
Notes:
z You cannot display the setup screen whilst a disc is playing.
z See page 23 for selecting another language for disc menus.
z The previous screen appears by pressing the RETURN
