moisture.

15.1 Storage during extended breaks in operation

Allow the engine to cool down before parking the
product in an enclosed space.
Store the petrol lawn tractor with the tank emptied and
also store the fuel supply in a lockable and well-ven-
tilated area.
Never store the device with petrol in the fuel tank in-
side a building in which fuel vapours may come into
contact with naked flames or sparks.
If the tank has to be emptied (e.g. decommissioning
before winter break), the fuel tank should only be
emptied outdoors (e.g. empty the tank by running the
combustion engine outdoors).
The ignition key (4a) must always be removed from
the ignition lock (4) and stored securely to prevent un-
authorised or improper use by children and other per-
sons.
Clean the petrol lawn tractor thoroughly before storing
it (e.g. winter break). Dry grass cuttings and leaves
near the silencer can catch fire. Danger of ignition!
Allow the device to cool down completely before cov-
ering it.
Before storage, carry out all necessary maintenance
work.
15.2 Drain fuel with a petrol extraction pump (Fig. 15)
1. Open the bonnet (6) by lifting it forward.
2. Hold a collection bucket under the hose of the fuel
extraction pump (not included in the scope of de-
livery).
3. Unscrew and remove the fuel filler cap (23a).
4. Push the hose of the fuel extraction pump into
the fuel tank (23) and drain out the fuel tank com-
pletely using the fuel extraction pump.
5. Retighten the fuel filler cap (23a).

16. Transport (Fig. 37-41)

Danger of injury!
After switching the engine off, the blade continues to
run for a few seconds. If you touch the rotating parts,
you may cut yourself.
• Wait until the blade comes to a standstill.
• Do not stop the blade with your hand.
• Wear protective gloves.
• Remove the spark plug connector (27) from the
spark plug (27a) to prevent unintentional starting of
the engine when switching off or parking the product.
• Keep the blade away from your feet.
Special care must be taken when loading and unload-
ing the petrol lawn tractor for transport in a vehicle or
trailer to prevent fuel loss, damage or injury.
Always engage the parking brake (9) and disengage
the drive to the mowing unit (10).
When transporting the petrol lawn tractor, observe re-
gional legal regulations, especially with regard to load
safety and the transport of objects on loading areas.
This petrol lawn tractor must not be towed. A suitable
vehicle or trailer must be used for transport on public
roads. When transporting, ensure that the transport
device has sufficient payload-bearing capacity and
that the petrol lawn tractor is suitably safeguarded.
Keep the loading area and the area around the si-
lencer and combustion engine free of combustible
materials such as straw, leaves or dry grass cuttings
during transport.
Always remove the ignition key (4a) from the ignition
lock (4) after loading!

Waste electrical and electronic equip-
ment does not belong in household waste,
but must be collected and disposed of
separately!
• Used batteries or rechargeable batteries that are
not installed permanently in the old device must be
removed non-destructively before disposal! Their
disposal is regulated by the battery act.
• Owners or users of electrical and electronic devic-
es are legally obliged to return them after use.
• The end user is responsible for deleting their per-
sonal data from the old device being disposed of!
• The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin means that
waste electrical and electronic equipment must not
be disposed of with household waste.
• Waste electrical and electronic equipment can be
handed in free of charge at the following places:
- Public disposal or collection points (e.g. munici-
pal works yards).
- Points of sale of electrical devices (stationary
and online), provided that dealers are obliged to
take them back or offer to do so voluntarily.
- Up to three waste electrical devices per type of
device, with an edge length of no more than 25
centimetres, can be returned free of charge to
www.scheppach.com
The packaging materials are recycla-
ble. Please dispose of packaging in
an environmentally friendly manner.
