The hose can be connected via the pump connection and the connection fitting
[19 mm (3/4") / 25 mm (1")] or via the IBO System connection [13 mm (1/2") / 16 mm (5/8") / 19
mm (3/4")]. When using a 25 mm (1") hose, the pump's delivery capacity is at its maximum.
When connecting more than one hose or connected devices in parallel, a 2-/4-way
valve can be used.

Connecting the suction float ( )
Rainer 1200 Auto Storm
-
Connect the vacuum-resistant suction hose supplied with the kit. To do this, remove the
pump base (turn clockwise) and attach the hose to the protruding connection, see figure M1
(p. 10).
-
Once the suction hose is fitted, it is recommended that the pump is operated vertically, e.g.
by suspending the pump from a rope.
-
The suction hose should be cut to the correct length so that it does not form loops during
operation and no air is sucked in.
-
The suction hose should be at least 50 cm long.
