Installation of the submersible pump

For the automatic model only
The pump will switch off when the water outlet is closed (tap turned off).
Thanks to the integrated check valve, pressure is maintained in the hose until water is drawn.
When water is drawn through the hose (the pressure in the hose drops below the set level),
the pump switches on automatically.
Low-volume programme and leak warning for the automatic model
Leak warning:
The flow control switches off automatically as soon as the water supply stops. In the event of a leak
on the pressure side (e.g. a leak in the hose or tap), it switches the pump on and off at short
intervals. If the pump switches on and off more than 7 times within 2 minutes (with a leak < 6
l/h), the pump switches off completely. Once the leak on the pressure side has been rectified,
the pump must be switched off and on again to resume operation.
Low-flow programme for the automatic model
To prevent the pump from switching off prematurely when using small amounts of water (e.g.
drip irrigation), the leak warning is only activated after 60 minutes.
Cyclical switching on and off of the pump during the Low Flow Programme has no effect on
the pump's service life.
The pump is fitted with a non-return valve. If there is a slight difference in water levels within
the system, pumps equipped with an automatic control unit may fail to switch off after the tap
or valve has been closed. This may be caused by insufficient water pressure on the non-return
valve. In this case, a small diaphragm tank should be installed between the tap and the pump,
which will ensure that the check valve closes.

For continuous drip irrigation

If the low-volume programme is to be used for more than 60 minutes, watering must be
paused for at least 5 minutes before the end of the 60-minute period. The low-volume
programme can then be used for a further 60 minutes.
