Product description and application
Thank you for purchasing our equipment.
The submersible pump is a central pressure unit designed to supply water to households,
irrigation systems, rainwater harvesting systems, and systems handling chlorinated water.
The RAINER 1200 Auto and RAINER 1200 Auto Storm pumps are equipped with an automatic
control system instead of a float switch. If the pressure drops (the outlet valve opens), the
pump switches on automatically. At maximum pressure (outlet valve closed), the flow is cut off
and the pump switches off automatically.
In addition, the automatic switch includes dry-run protection, which switches the pump off
during dry running and protects the pump from damage. When the outlet valve is closed, the
pump switches off and goes into standby mode, maintaining a constant pressure in the system.
The pump will switch on automatically when the outlet valve is opened.
If the water supply is insufficient, the pump will switch to emergency mode to prevent it from
running dry. In this case, the pump will only restart once the power supply has been
reconnected. In the event of a leak in the system and frequent pump activation, the pump will
switch to emergency mode. The pump will then only restart once the power supply has been
reconnected.
By connecting a floating suction unit, the cleanest water is collected from the surface of the storage
tank (applies to pumps equipped with a connection port dedicated to the suction hose in the
Rainer 1200 Storm).
The pumps feature:
•
Automatic venting – the pump is fitted with a vent valve.
•
Self-cooling via water flowing through the pump body.
•
A slim plastic housing and a stainless steel cylinder.
•
If the motor is overloaded, the built-in thermal protection will switch the pump off.
•
Dry-run protection.
•
Leak protection (leak in the pressure hose or tap).
