Electrical safety
WARNING! Risk of cardiac arrest! This product generates an electromagnetic field when in
use. Under certain conditions, this field may interfere with the operation of active or
passive medical implants. To reduce the risk of conditions that could potentially cause
injury or death, we recommend consulting with individuals with medical implants, a
doctor and the medical implant manufacturer before using the product.
If extension cables are used, they must comply with the specifications in the table below:
Voltage
230–240 V / 50 Hz
230–240 V / 50 Hz
If the mains plug is cut off, moisture may enter the electrical components via the mains
cable and cause a short circuit.
•
Never cut the mains plug (e.g. to pass it through a wall).
•
Do not use the power cable to disconnect the appliance.
•
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service agent or
a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
The mains plug and extension sockets must be protected from splashing water. Ensure that
electrical connections for plugs and sockets are made in areas protected from flooding.
Protect the mains plug and power cable from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Check the mains voltage. The information on the rating plate must correspond to the
mains supply data.
The pump must be connected to a 230 V / 50 Hz earthed power supply. The electrical
supply from which the pump is to be powered must have ratings consistent with those
stated on the pump's nameplate. The pump's plug must be connected to a socket with
an active earth connection. The yellow-green conductor of the connection cable serves
as the earth conductor.
The manufacturer and guarantor are exempt from any liability for damage to persons or
property resulting from a lack of proper earthing.
