sharp edges, or moving objects. Damage to the power cord or
entanglement with other objects increases the risk of electric shock.
• Use a power strip suitable for outdoor use, such as one marked with the
"WA" or "W" symbol. This will reduce the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety precautions
1. When using power tools, maintain a clear mind and focus on the task at
hand. Do not use power tools while fatigued or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol, or other drugs. A moment's inattention can result in serious injury.
2. Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your
clothing, hair, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewelry,
and long hair can easily become caught in moving parts.
3. Do not turn on the power tool unconsciously. Make sure the switch is
turned off before plugging it into the socket. When you are carrying a power
tool and your finger accidentally touches the switch to turn it on, it may
cause a safety accident.
4. Any adjustment tools, such as wrenches, etc., must be removed before
the machine is started. These tools can be caught in the moving parts of
the machine, which is very dangerous and can easily cause personal
injury.
5. Keep your body balanced and do not lose your balance when operating
the machine. This will help you better control the tool in unexpected
situations.
6. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and always wear
safety glasses. PPE includes dust masks, non-slip safety shoes, hard mats,
or thermal protection. Proper use of these protective equipment will reduce
the occurrence of personal injury accidents.
Tool use and maintenance
1. Don't overuse tools. Use them for the job they were designed for.
Choosing the right tools for the job you're designing will yield twice the
result with half the effort and is safe.
2. If the machine's switch does not work properly, stop using the machine.
Any equipment with a non-working switch is dangerous and must be
repaired immediately.
