12. Put the switch in the forward (CW) position, press the foot switch, and
check the direction of rotation of the cable drum.
If the switch does not work, have it repaired and do not use the machine.
The cable drum should rotate clockwise when viewed from the front of the
machine. This can be seen on the machine's warning label and the arrow
marking on the drum. Release the foot switch to stop the machine. Set the
switch to reverse (CCW) to determine the direction of rotation of the cable
drum. If the cable drum is not rotating in the correct direction, stop the
machine and have it repaired.
13. After the inspection is completed, turn the switch to OFF and unplug
the power cord with dry hands.
