In accordance with EN 1717, the rinsing water hose
and the safety overflow hose must be attached to
the highest possible wastewater level (interval larger
than the diameter of the wastewater pipe).
If the flush water is introduced into the pumping
system, this must be designed for a water volume
of at least 2 m 3 /h or 35 l/min.
If the pumping system is also used simultaneously
for other systems, it must be dimensioned larger
to include their water delivery volumes.
The pumping system must be resistant to
saltwater.

The unit size must correspond with the anticipated
conditions of use. Details of these can be found in
DIN 1988-200 and in the technical data.
If the water extraction, e.g. during holiday periods,
is lower, a shut-off valve should be fully opened
for at least 5 minutes before the water can be
used again (see chapter Interruption in use).
