Rondomat Duo S is intended for the softening or
partial softening of drinking and non-drinking water
for domestic purposes (in keeping with the
relevant regulations) and for the protection of water
pipes and the fittings attached to them, equipment,
boilers, etc. against malfunctions and damage
caused by calcification.

Ronodomat duo S is a duplex water-softening
system based on the ionic exchange principle.

During commissioning the local drinking water
hardness and the desired blended water hardness
are entered in the electronics.

A hygienic rinse after a longish down time is just
as programmable as a reminder to rinse the
reverseflow filter (reverseflow flush/filter sieve).

There are two differently dimensioned softener
pillars - a basic load and a top capacity pillar.
Depending on the flow rate, the control switches to
the corresponding pillar and ensures a low differen-
tial pressure, even at high flow rates.
Blending takes place automatically dependent on
the prescribed residual hardness value.

A regeneration is initiated volumetrically. Due to this,
no residual soft water is discarded.
Using the precision brine meter, the brine is
assessed to decide whether the basic load or top
capacity pillar has to be regenerated.
The system is equipped with a device that disinfects
the exchanger resin during the regeneration.
