Charging the battery

Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool
before charging.
• Do not expose the battery to dir-
ect sunlight for long periods and
do not place it on a radiator (max.
50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Remove the battery (6) from the
device.
2. Push the battery (6) into the char-
ging slot of the battery charger
(17).
3. Connect the battery charger (17) to
a power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the bat-
tery charger (17) from the mains.
5. Pull the battery (6) out of the bat-
tery charger (17).

Operation
Inserting and removing the
battery
WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert
the battery into the device once the
device is fully prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incor-
rect battery can damage the device
and battery.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (6) along the
guide into the battery holder in the
handle (7).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release
(5) on the battery (6).
2. Remove the battery from the
handle (7).
Switching on and off
Switching on
1. Select the direction of rotation with
the rotation direction switch (4).
2. Select a gear with the gear select-
or switch (3).
3. Select a maximum torque or
drilling with the torque adjustment
ring (2).
4. Press and hold the On/off switch
(8).
The LED work light (10) lights up.
The LED work light (10) flashes
when the battery needs charging.
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off
switch (8).
2. Wait until the power tool has
stopped before placing it down.
3. When taking a break: Set the dir-
ection of rotation switch (4) to the
