8. Before commissioning
m ATTENTION!
Always make sure the device is fully assembled
before commissioning!
Prepare the workplace where the machine is to be lo-
cated. Create enough space to allow safe, trouble-free
working.
The machine is designed for working in enclosed
spaces and must be set up securely on a level and firm
surface. The stability is to be screwed down on a work-
bench or a fixed machine stand on the floor by fasten-
ing with 4 frame brackets and 4 hexagon bolts M6x12
each with a nut and washer. (Fig. 22, 23).
9.
Assembly and operation
Observe the safety instructions before the com-
missioning.
m Attention!
All protective devices and covers must be installed be-
fore any work is carried out on the machine. The top
and bottom band wheel is clad by a firmly attached pro-
tection and a moveable housing cover. The machine is
switched off when the housing cover is opened. It can
only be switched on with the cover closed.
• The saw table must be mounted correctly.
• The saw band must be able to run freely.
• In case of previously machined wood, be aware of
any foreign bodies, such as nails or screws, etc.
• Before pressing the on/off switch, make sure that
the saw band is correctly fitted, and that moving
parts run smoothly.
• Before connecting the machine, make certain that
the data on the type plate matches with the mains
power data.
