11. Settings

11.1. Settings for HWE / HVE

Adjust the blending valve depending on the cartridge selected.
•
Turn the blending device in the direction of "hard", to fi ll the system with
harder water and in the direction of "soft", for a fi lling with softer water.
•
Take a water sample via the upstream draw-off valve and measure the degree
of hardness with the enclosed titration test (3000.00.937).
•
Check the water hardness value at the draw-off valve downstream and, if
necessary, adjust the setting of the blending valve.
Repeat, if necessary.
11.2. Setting of the pressure reducing valve
The outlet pressure can be adjusted as follows:
•
Make sure that the inlet pressure exceeds the desired fi lling pressure by at least 1 bar.
•
Remove the outer casing and the clip
•
Loosen the locking screws with a screwdriver
•
Turn the handle as far as possible towards "Minus" and open a nearby tap. Now turn the handle in the "Plus" direction until the desired
pressure has been reached.
