2. Safety

2.1. Intended use

The SYR All-in-One+ Connect is a refi ll system for heating installations with integrated leakage protection function.
The SYR All-in-One+ Connect is intended for use upstream of heating installations. Any other use or use beyond the intended use is deemed
improper use.
Observing these operating instructions also falls under the scope of intended use.

2.2. Fundamental dangers

In general, handling electrically powered devices can involve danger. Therefore, please follow safety and health regulations (VSG), other
generally accepted rules pertaining to safety and occupational medicine as well as health and safety regulations of the German trade
associations (BGV).
Do not modify the All-in-One+ Connect. The manufacturer does not assume any liability for damage due to improper alterations.

2.3. Dangers due to electrical energy

In general, handling electrically powered devices can involve danger. Therefore, please follow safety and health regulations (VSG), other
generally accepted rules pertaining to safety and occupational medicine as well as health and safety regulations of the German trade
associations (BGV).
Do not modify the All-in-One+ Connect. The manufacturer does not assume any liability for damage due to improper alterations.
Please observe the prescribed values for voltage and power (see specifi cations) during installation. Work on electrical installations or
controls must be made by qualifi ed electricians only.
Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery before you start the work.
Regularly check the power adapter and have it replaced by a qualifi ed electrician in case it is damaged.

2.4. Maintenance and repair work

Maintenance and repair work must be carried out by qualifi ed and authorized specialists only. They are considered authorized specialists
on the basis of their vocational training, instruction or experience and have been authorized to perform the required intervention and are
able to detect and prevent possible danger. They must be able to provide evidence about their knowledge of the relevant safety standards,
safety regulations and the health and safety regulations of the German trade associations (BGV) and they must have read the operating
instructions.

3. Installation instructions

The SYR All-in-One Connect operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM frequency band. Please avoid installing it near devices with the same channel
assignment (e.g. wireless network devices, RF components, etc.).
When operating in unfavorable ambient conditions, in buildings/rooms with reinforced concrete walls, steel and iron frames or near metal
obstacles (e.g. pieces of furniture), radio reception may be disturbed or interrupted. If necessary, a wireless repeater must be connected to
the main router to increase the range of the radio signal.
The All-in-One+ Connect may only be installed in frost-proof, non-condensing locations. The All-in-One+ Connect must not be installed in
inaccessible shafts.
To ensure fl awless and convenient operations, the All-in-One+ Connect can have a wireless internet connection and may be operated via
your smartphone, tablet or PC.
In addition, offl ine operation is possible via the integrated AccessPoint of the All-in-One+ Connect.
