Starting current
With the COSMO CPB2/CPBA2 circulation pump, the starting
current is limited to a maximum of 15 A by means of an integrated
series resistor. This means that external control units that switch
the pump are not affected.
Cut off the connector
The warranty does not expire by removing the plug! There are
conditions in the boiler room that make it necessary to remove
the plug. Please cut off directly on the cable directly behind the
plug.
Replacement motor
With the CPB2/CPBA2 series, replacement engines are available
as spare parts for the first time. The replacement engines fit the
COSMO CPB/CPBA series from 2016 onwards. In the current mo-
del, the last 4 digits of the serial number indicate the month and
year of manufacture (MMYY).
Anti-blocking
All CPB2/CPBA2 pumps have a blocking protection. If the rotor
jams, the commutation is lost and the motor shuts down. After a
short time, the engine starts again, switches off again if necessa-
ry, and so on.

Vent flange
The bleeding and flushing process is necessary so that there is
no bearing damage due to dry running or rotor damage due to
