INFO! Only install the pump completely. Only use
COSMO original parts. The replacement engine is
compatible with the previous series (from may 2016).
When replacing the pump motor, use a new seal. It
is not possible to mount the engine on a third-party
pump housing.
INFO! In the case of the COSMO CPBA2 pump type,
a shut-off valve and check valve are included in the
scope of delivery and can be installed with a tightening
torque of 15 Nm (Fig. 2).
Shut-off valves are only used for short-term shut-off for
engine replacement.
The COSMO CPB2 pump type does not include a shut-
off and check valve.
CAUTION! Too high a tightening torque during scre-
wing destroys the valve fittings and the O-rings. When
installing, secure the valves with an open-end wrench
against twisting!

Prepare the installation site so that the pump can
be mounted free of mechanical stress.

Select the permissible installation position
(Fig. 4).

Install the pump in the pipeline so that the arrows
on the pump housing point in the direction of flow
(Fig. 3).
6.
Turn the pump head so that the cable is facing
downwards (Fig. 7). (if necessary 7.)

Loosen the union nut 5 unscrew the pump head
completely if necessary.
