INFO! The pump has dry-running protection.
A functional test of the rotor outside the medium leads
to a repeated stopping and restarting of the rotor. Only
when operated in an air-free medium does the rotor
run without interruption
CAUTION! Property damage due to water leakage! The
shut-off valve is open when delivered (Fig. 5). Close the
shut-off valve before loosening the union nut. To do
this, use a screwdriver to set the slot transversely to the
direction of flow (Fig. 6).
CAUTION! Bearing damage due to dry running! Flush
the pipe system thoroughly with water and bleed.
INFO! Use the Cosmo vent flange for bleeding
(Fig. 8 and see page 15 Spare parts).
CAUTION! Do not damage the housing seal. Replace
damaged gasket
CAUTION! When mounting the housing seal, do not
place it in the pump housing, but on the pump motor.
8. Reassemble the pump head, tighten the union nut
with approx. 20 Nm of tightening torque.
9. Place the thermal insulation shell
housing.
10. Open water supply/shut-off valves slowly.
