7.3 Removing and inserting the slide-in rail racks
and the catalytic plates
Removing the rail racks and catalytic plates
Removing the slide-in racks and the catalytic plates
mounted behind them greatly facilitates access to the inner
side walls of the cooking chamber and their cleaning.
To do this, proceed as follows for each side:
• Remove all accessories such as the baking tray(s)
and cooking grate.
• Press the front edge of the grille slightly backwards
at the height of the middle slide-in rail
and at the same time carefully pull it out of the
suspension opening, supporting the rack
and making sure that the catalytic plate fitted behind
the rack does not slip off the anchorage.
• Swing the rack away from the cooking chamber
wall to an angle of approx. 45°
so that the anchoring at the rear edge also comes loose
and carefully pull it out of the opening.
Also make sure that the catalytic plate does not
come loose.
• Remove the rack from the cooking chamber
together with the catalytic plate.
When doing this, make sure that the hooks and edges
do not come into contact with sensitive surfaces
so as not to scratch them!
• Separate the catalytic plate from the rail rack
by pulling it off the anchoring hooks.
