7. Removing and attaching appliance parts and accessories
7.1 Removing and attaching the appliance door
Removing the oven door makes it much easier to access
and clean the oven interior and the door components.
To do this, the locking levers of the oven door hinges
must be released.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
If the hinges of the appliance door are not locked,
they can snap shut with great force and cause
injuries!
Ensure that the locking levers are always fully
closed or, when detaching the appliance door,
fully open!
The door hinges move when opening and closing
the door, and you may be trapped!
Keep your hands away from the hinges!
Removing the appliance door
• Open the door completely.
• Open the locking levers on the two door hinges fully
(see illustration).
• Hold the door and close it carefully
to an opening angle of approx. 15°.
• Grasp the door with both hands on the left and right side
and lift it upwards out of the holder.
• Place the oven door on a soft surface, to protect
the handle and front from damage before cleaning.
