• Üben Sie das richtige Anlegen mit dem
Patienten.
• Eine unsachgemäße Änderung am Produkt
darf nicht vorgenommen werden. Bei Nicht-
beachtung kann die Leistung des Produktes
beein trächtigt werden, so dass eine Produkt-
haftung ausgeschlossen wird.
• Die GenuPoint ist zur Versorgung nur eines
Patienten vorgesehen.

Regelungen und weiteren Vorgaben zur Anpassung
und Einweisung in den Gebrauch von orthopädischen

Intended use
GenuPoint is a medical device. It is a support
for the relief and stabilization of the patellar
tendon.
Indications
• Irritation in the patellar tendon area
(patellofemoral pain syndrome,
patellar chondropathy, patellar tip
syndrome / jumper's knee)
Risks of using this product
Caution*
• GenuPoint is a prescribable product. In case
you have received it by prescription from
your doctor or physiotherapist, the use and
duration of use must be agreed with her / him
before utilizing the product. In any case,
instruction is required by the specialist who
provided you with the product. GenuPoint
should only be applied in accordance
with the instructions contained in these
usage directions and for the listed areas of
application.

• Only a specialist may carry out the (initial)
fitting of the product and provide instruction.
• This product is intended to be fitted only once
and to one patient.
• Product liability cannot be assumed in the
event of inappropriate use.
• Do not alter the product in any way. Failure to
comply with this requirement may adversely
affect product performance, thereby canceling
any product liability.
• Any aids applied externally to the body
may, if tightened excessively, lead to local
pressure points or, in rare cases, constrict
the underlying blood vessels or nerves. Avoid
fastening the strap too tight.
• If you notice any changes or an increase in
symptoms while wearing the product, stop
any further use and contact your doctor.
• Combining the support with other products
(e. g. compression stockings) must be
discussed beforehand with your physician.
• The product's unique effect is produced
primarily during physical activity. The product
should be removed during prolonged rest
breaks (e. g. sleeping, continuous sitting).
