Malfunction
Vacuum generator functioning,
but the load is not picked up.
Minimum vacuum -0,2 bar is
not reached.
Vacuum generation is not
working.

Cause
The suction plate is not com-
pletely covered by the load. Air
is leaking in.
The filter screen is dirty.
Hose or screw unions are leak-
ing.
Sealing lip on suction plate is
damaged.
Load has cracks, gaps or is
porous.
Gauge is faulty.
Hose or screw unions are leak-
ing.
Location of use is higher than
1600 m above sea level.
The main switch is set to OFF.
The electrical connection is
defective.
Temperature monitoring has
been triggered.
Power consumption is elevat-
ed.
The vacuum generator is
faulty.
Solution
Position the lifting device
on the load so that the suc-
tion plate is completely
covered by the load.
Clean the filter screen.
Replace or seal compo-
nents.
Replace suction plate.
The load cannot be handled
with this lifting device.
Replace the gauge.
Seal or replace compo-
nents.
Observe the maximum alti-
tude for location of use.
Set the main switch to ON.
1. Check and repair the con-
nection.
2. Check the power supply
line.
Allow the vacuum genera-
tor to cool down.
1. Clean the filter screen.
2. Check the motor for faults.

tor and contact Probst ser-
vice if necessary.
