15. Maintenance and service
m Only carry out maintenance, modification,
adjustment and cleaning work when the engine
is switched off and the mains is disconnected.
• Keep the instructions with the machine.
• Keep the machine clean.
• Wear safety goggles when cleaning.
Before starting the maintenance or checks, clean
the work area and have suitable tools at hand and in
good condition.
The time intervals relate to normal operating condi-
tions. If the machine is subjected to heavier loads,
these times must be reduced accordingly.
Clean the machine cladding, panels and control le-
vers with a soft, dry cloth or a cloth that has been
slightly moistened with neutral cleaning agent. Do
not use any solvents such as alcohol or petrol as
these may damage the surfaces.
Keep oils and lubricants out of reach of unauthor-
ised persons. Read through the instructions on the
containers carefully and follow them closely. Avoid
direct contact with the skin and wash off thoroughly
after use.
m Check all safety devices after all maintenance
or cleaning work.
